Telefax OmniTicker now includes the Yahoo Finance and BBC News RSS data feeds within the standard demonstration suite. Telefax Data Systems has said that its forthcoming SmartMEDIA application is scheduled for general release in autumn this year. The new software introduces proximity data streaming using GPS and RFID to deliver information to specific groups based on where they are at any point in time using identified network delivery points.
